Specifically, the company has fired at least 60 employees by implementing an internal reorganization that changes priorities: the team is now mainly focused on Hunt Showdown 1896, the live-service Extraction Shooter originally released in 2019 and still regularly supported by Crytek. Crytek is still ensuring continued and massive support for Hunt Showdown 1896, continuing to expand it further in the future, as well as continuing with plans already in place to enhance its CryEngine. However, at this time, it remains unknown when work on Crysis 4 will resume following the pause that occurred in recent months.
