• Dotlake has released their Polkadot insights for October. Thanks to Mythical onboarding over 5 million accounts, the total number of unique accounts on Polkadot has increased by 63% to 13 million. The Relay Chain validated a whopping 32 million transactions, almost half of them from Neuroweb. With the active validator set expanded to 500, the Nakamoto Coefficient has jumped to 136.

• JAM Implementer's Prize candidate JAMdot Technologies announces that PyJAMaz, its Python implementation of JAM, is now producing blocks.

• Stablecoin e-commerce payments platform Kwickbit is the latest recipient of a Web3 Foundation Decentralized Futures grant. Their grant project will involve the development of a non-custodial on-chain payments gateway, which will be deployed through smart contracts on Polkadot and support Asset Hub stablecoins. The next phase of their project will investigate launching as a parachain.

• Hyperbridge founder Seun Lanlege has emerged from his self-imposed Twitter hiatus, promising big news this week. Stay tuned.

• Archisinal announces the addition of former Parity Director of Delivery Services and Blockdeep Labs founder Gautam Dhameja to their team. Gautam will be serving as CTO in a fractional capacity.

• The Incognitee Beta is now live. During the beta period, public TEER balances can be shielded and privately transferred with a shielding limit of 1000 TEER. In addition, holders of at least 0.1 shielded TEER can participate in a guess-the-number contest to win up to 500 TEER per week.

• Peaq's all-star list of genesis nodes now includes Twinstake. Twinstake is a leading non-custodial staking protocol that ensures transparent and compliant staking services for enterprises.

• The Peaq developer portal is now live, bringing together all of the tools needed to build the next generation of innovative DePINs.

• If you’re holding more than 2000 KREST, you can now calculate your Phase 1 Peaq airdrop using the Krest Kalkulator. Phase 2 of the airdrop will involve providing liquidity to PEAQ-stablecoin and PEAQ-KREST pairs. All airdrop recipients will need to undergo a KYC process.

• Polimec is working on some new ways for investors to access project fundraises, including a wallet-supported Web3 app and Web2 integration with financial intermediaries.

• Mythical Games and Pudgy Penguins have announced the Pudgy Party mobile game set for release in 2025. The game featuring obstacle-dodging gameplay will be available on iOS and Android, allowing players to enjoy it with family, friends and others worldwide.

• Holders of the Sovereign Nature InitiativeDOTphin NFTs can level up their NFTs to the third evolution stage, Naia, at sub0 Reset. The proof-of-participation NFTs can be leveled up by claiming new POPs at Polkadot ecosystem events.

• The analytics dashboard for Mythos Chain is now available, allowing users to review transaction metrics, marketplace netflows, and gas utilization. Additionally, it provides information on the total supply of Myth tokens and the number of active wallets on the network.

• The minting of the Anomaly NFT collection by Vectorz3r0 is live on Kodadot. Each 3D animated NFT can be minted for 0.5 DOT.

• Astar Degens announced a reward pool of 48,435 ASTR tokens to be distributed equally among the collection's NFT holders for September. To receive these rewards, NFT holders must have held their AD NFT in their wallets within the last 30 days.

• Destore has updated the DESTORE token allocation ratios for its ISPO participants, offering a 2X boost for everyone involved, with the ISPO continuing into Q1 of 2025. They also recently shifted their reward model from an equity share structure to a system that rewards ISPO participants directly with DESTORE tokens.

• Gavun Wud teased Flappy Wud 2.0, which is set to launch soon. Wud NFTs will be useful in this version of the game.

• Snake Soldiers has informed the community that they are currently in hibernation, waiting for the right moment to resume their battle. Furthermore, they hold 1M PINK tokens, which are awaiting distribution to participants of their last battle contest.

• Stellaswap's stDOT is now integrated on OKX DeFi, allowing users to stake DOT on OKX for rewards powered by stDOT.

• Following a previous burn of 200 million tokens, Stellaswap has burned an additional 50 million STELLA tokens. This reduces the total supply of STELLA to 250 million, down from the initial 500 million tokens.

• Stellaswap is introducing veSTELLA, which brings significant changes to the platform. By locking STELLA, users can obtain veSTELLA, enabling them to vote on and boost emissions for specific pools. Different protocols can offer bribes to veSTELLA holders, incentivizing their votes. Additionally, veSTELLA holders will receive 83.5% of all trading fees on Stellaswap and 100% of all bribes.

• The MYTH-DOT isolated pool has been hydrated, allowing liquidity providers to farm and earn up to 128% rewards in vDOT and HDX on Hydration.

• Beamswap has announced a new milestone of $125.5 million in trading volume since its launch.

• Acala has partnered with derivatives infrastructure provider Fufuture to introduce Coin-based perpetual options to the network.

• Following the approval of the Wish-For-Change Referendum 1139, which proposed reducing Polkadot's inflation rate to 8%. The approved parameters have been tested on the Westend network to confirm their effectiveness. A new referendum is now live, seeking to upgrade the Polkadot Relay Chain and Asset Hub to apply these parameters on Polkadot.

• Members of the ambassador collective have submitted a proposal to implement their manifesto for the Polkadot ambassador program.

• After the Kusama Asset Hub (AH) became a reserve for KSM for Moonriver, a proposal to transfer 15% of KSM from the Moonriver sovereign account on Kusama to AH was enacted. This KSM will provide liquidity for transfers to and from AH to Moonriver. It will also serve as a test, as similar integrations will be made on Moonbeam later.

• In the latest episode of Decentralized Mic on October 30th, Polkadot hosted Tommi Enenkel (OpenGov Watch) and Raul Romanutti (Just Open Source) to discuss all things governance-related.
• On October 31st, Bitskwela hosted Filippo Franchini (Web3 Foundation), Seun Lanlege (Hyperbridge), and PolkaPat (OpenGuild) to discuss building on Polkadot and Web3 developments in the Philippines.
• You may remember that Calyptus recently named Parity the sixth best employer in Web3. On October 31st, they hosted a panel on cross-border human resource management in Web3 that featured Parity's Matek Struci.
• Neutron hosted a panel on October 31st featuring Tyrone (Bitfrost), which discussed the renaissance of DeFi and what the future holds.
• Ellie and Sef from Aventus summarized Phase 2 of their marketing campaign on October 31st. In addition, they gave an overview of Aventus 2.0 and a preview of some exciting new projects to come.
