  • Dotlake has released their Polkadot insights for October. Thanks to Mythical onboarding over 5 million accounts, the total number of unique accounts on Polkadot has increased by 63% to 13 million. The Relay Chain validated a whopping 32 million transactions, almost half of them from Neuroweb. With the active validator set expanded to 500, the Nakamoto Coefficient has jumped to 136.

  • JAM Implementer's Prize candidate JAMdot Technologies announces that PyJAMaz, its Python implementation of JAM, is now producing blocks.

  • Stablecoin e-commerce payments platform Kwickbit is the latest recipient of a Web3 Foundation Decentralized Futures grant. Their grant project will involve the development of a non-custodial on-chain payments gateway, which will be deployed through smart contracts on Polkadot and support Asset Hub stablecoins. The next phase of their project will investigate launching as a parachain.

  • After the Kusama Asset Hub (AH) became a reserve for KSM for Moonriver, a proposal to transfer 15% of KSM from the Moonriver sovereign account on Kusama to AH was enacted. This KSM will provide liquidity for transfers to and from AH to Moonriver. It will also serve as a test, as similar integrations will be made on Moonbeam later.
