About Crab Network
Darwinia Crab Network (Crab for short) is the canary network for Darwinia. It is the first cross-chain NFT blockchain in the Polkadot ecology and provides the smart contract solution. Crab is going to participate in the Kusama Parachain Slot Auction.

Crab Network is going to participate in the Kusama Parachain Slot Auction
Kusama is a multi-chain network. Parachains can be accessed through slots. Parachains and Kusama jointly form an interoperable blockchain network. Kusama guarantees the security of the entire network, while parachains provide a variety of capabilities for the entire network. All parachains must participate in the parachain auction to obtain the right to rent a slot.
The Crab network needs to crowdloan enough KSMs to win the parachain auction. Crab Network chooses to crowdloan KSMs in a trustless way. During Crab’s parachain lease, these KSMs will be “locked” in the Kusama Crowdloan.
KSM holders lock their tokens in the Crowdloan for a period of time (48 weeks) to help Darwinia Crab rent a slot. In return for these KSM holders, participants will receive CRING, RING, NFT, BTC as rewards.

Bidding Period: Considering the first few parachains to connect may experience stability issues, we plan to begin bidding for a slot in the 4th round.
Range: Lease periods on Kusama are 6 weeks long and we will bid for a block of four, making our lease duration 6 months. The longer lease duration will ensure long-term stability of Crab network.
PLO Rewards

We have set aside 25% of CRING and 1% of RING token supplies for Kusama PLO over the next 10 years.
In addition, Evolution Land NFT rewards (land, chests, apostles) on the Columbus continent launched on the Crab network and Dawning continent launched on Heco Chain will be provided to supporters after successful bidding.
Our super jackpot is 1 BTC, and one lucky user will find this BTC when they claim their land.
Guaranteed rewards
Every 1 KSM donated by supporters of Crab during the Crowdloan will earn a reward of about 25 CRING per day immediately at the end of the auction.
For example, Alice contributes 10 KSM on the third day of the Crowdloan and the Crowdloan lasts 7 days.
Then Alice is expected to win 5*10*25, 1250 CRING in total.
Rewards for a successful bid
After successfully winning the slot, we will distribute a 240,000,000 CRING prize pool and a 6,000,000 RING prize pool.
Supporters will share the prize pool rewards according to their percentage share of total contributions in the Crab Crowdloan Fund.
30% of the prize pool will be released immediately and the remaining 70% will be vested for 48 weeks and released in a linear fashion according to a weekly distribution schedule.

How to qualify for winning the BTC Lotto
For example, Alice participates in the Crab crowd loan and contributes 10 KSM; in return she receives 10 lottery tickets. Within 20 days after Crab wins the parachain, Alice is able to participate in the Evolution Land NFT package lottery and if she is lucky enough, will win a Legendary NFT reward (including land, apostle, drill.)
The BTC Super Prize is hidden in the NFT land reward, so Alice has a chance to win the 1BTC jackpot.
How to win the BTC Lotto
The total number of users who are eligible to participate in the BTC lottery is recorded as n (that is, the total number of users who have won the Legendary NFT package), we will take the hash of future bitcoin chain block modulo n and mark the remainder as m. The user who draws the m-th land in chronological order will win the BTC Prize. In order to ensure the fairness of the results, we will post them on Github.

How to develop on Crab
Crab is compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine (DVM). DApp Based on the Ethereum virtual machine, can be migrated to the Crab network seamlessly or with a small amount of modification. More projects that have been deployed on other public chains after the cross-chain bridge is opened can directly choose to develop on Crab and easily enter the Polkadot ecosystem.
