Revolut to Launch Its Own Stablecoin.
Revolut, the digital banking and financial platform offering wide range of services that include, International money transfers, currency exchange, and cryptocurrency trading, all through a mobile app is planning to launch their stablecoin.
Their received a UK banking license that allow them to launch its own stabelecoin that's attached to real world assets, and, compete in a market that already saw traditional companies such as PayPal, Ripple with their own stablecoin. It's a bold move in a market almost dominated by one corporation in the stablecoin domain, Tether, but that won't be a factor to stop the London based company.
Revolut is a giant payment company born in 2015, in London that offers a lot of services like the ones I mention above but besides that, they also allow users to hold and exchange multiple currencies with minimal transaction costs. They offer virtual and physical debit cards for their customers allowing them to use on their daily purchases.
The platform aims to simplify global banking by providing services like budgeting tools, investment options, and access to premium financial products, all without the need for traditional banks. This stablecoin will enable users to spend their assets more effectively and also put the company competition higher in UK, as recently the court approved USDT as personal property so why not also include Revolut stablecoin in that list? It's a "game of thrones" in England to secure the market and if it means to Revolut get a stable, why not? Remember:
