Fallout 2, Walton Goggins confesses: "I'm afraid to return in the new season"
Walton Goggins has returned to the set of Fallout to begin filming the highly anticipated second season, but the Justified and The Hateful Eight star is reportedly afraid to reprise his role as the deadly Ghoul in future episodes of Prime Video's acclaimed adaptation of the iconic video game.
In an interview with Entertainment Weekly, the actor admitted that he's "really scared" to step into the shoes of the Ghoul again, especially because of the lengthy makeup process that requires him to stand still in the makeup booth each time. "I'm really scared to put those prosthetics back on. It's that old saying where people ask, 'Why did you decide to have a second child if you've already been through this?' The answer is, because you've completely forgotten what it was like to have your first child!" Walton Goggins joked.
Fallout Season 2 is already underway, with Ella Purnell reprising her role as Lucy MacLean and Home Alone star Macaulay Culkin joining the Fallout 2 cast as a new character, described as "a kind of genius mad scientist." Based on the popular Fallout video game series, the show is set in a post-apocalyptic version of California that's been devastated by nuclear war and follows a Vault Dweller who is forced to go above ground for the first time in her life.
Aaron Moten, Kyle MacLachlan, Moisés Arias, Sarita Choudhury, Frances Turner and Leslie Uggams also return.
