Peaky Blinders, the Netflix saga will not end with the film: "We will continue"
After filming the Peaky Blinders movie wrapped last December, creator Steven Knight confirmed that the Netflix feature film will not be the epilogue of the franchise.
Speaking to BBC Breakfast, Knight spoke about the highly anticipated sequel to the hit Netflix series starring Cillian Murphy, specifying that it will not be a farewell at all.
"We're prepping it now, we've started editing. It's fantastic. We've got the best, I think, the best British actors all in one place, including Stephen Graham. What I'm watching these days, the filming, the assembling, I can tell you that no one will be disappointed. It's incredible. It's a very fitting way to end this part of the 'Peaky' story." And I say 'this part' for a reason. I am not allowed to make any announcements at this time, but I can anticipate that the world of 'Peaky' will continue".
Remember that the Peaky Blinders film does not yet have a precise release date, but it should arrive exclusively on the on-demand streaming platform Netflix towards the end of 2025 or at the latest in the first part of 2026.
