Avengers: Doomsday and Secret Wars will have multiple villains and multiple actors in multiple roles

In addition to teasing an ideological clash between Doctor Doom and Doctor Strange in Avengers: Doomsday and Avengers: Secret Wars, famed insider Alex Perez also shared some interesting updates on the two films' villains and cast.

Speaking to his followers in a recent Q&A, the insider spilled the beans from his sources and shared the following:

"The funny thing is, a lot of people seem to assume that Doctor Doom will be the only villain in these two movies. I can guarantee you that we will see multiple secondary antagonists, and whoever they are, according to my sources, they will be variants. There will be a disproportionate number of variants in these two movies, many more than the 'normal' characters from Earth-616. Some variants will be good, some will be bad, and some will be much worse. The basic idea for these next two movies is to see a new Multiversal War on the scale of the one that was teased in the first season of Loki. The thing is, this time, the key players in that war will not be Kang or his variants, but rather other Marvel heroes and villains from across the Multiverse. One of the rumors I've heard in the past, which seems to be confirmed by recent casting, is that many actors will play multiple roles: Chris Evans could be a great example of what I mean, because he could play either the Steve Rogers from the end of Avengers: Endgame or someone else. The confirmation that Hayley Atwell is Agent Carter and not Captain Carter indicates that we will return to that timeline. I also heard that Chris Evans could play another character in the film who will be an ally of RDJ's Doctor Doom."
