PlayStation 5: How to Change the 30th Anniversary Theme

As you may already know, today Sony has decided to celebrate the thirtieth anniversary of PlayStation with a special update for PS5, thanks to which you can change the theme of the console for the first time ever.

This is a one-of-a-kind initiative that, unfortunately, seems destined to remain active only for a limited period of time. In any case, enabling these themes is really simple and requires following very few steps.

First, turn on your PlayStation 5 and reach the home screen, then press Triangle to move the cursor to the top right and select the gear-shaped icon to reach the Settings. In this menu, you will notice that in the first place there is an item marked with the colored PlayStation logo, called PlayStation 30th Anniversary. Click on it and change the Appearance and audio option to scroll through the various available themes, all characterized by a start-up animation, a theme and sound effects.

Here are all the possible options available in this menu:

Disabled PlayStation PlayStation 2 PlayStation 3 PlayStation 4 If the PlayStation 30th Anniversary menu is not available, all you have to do is make sure you have updated your console to the latest firmware and restart it: as if by magic, the next time you turn it on, you will have the exclusive menu available.
