Gear Technologies Raised $12 Milion in Venture Round

Gear Technologies - a smart-contract layer supporting Polkadot blockchain framework, has just finished $12M ventures round led by Blockchange VC. This round also had the participation of Three Arrows Capital, Lemniscap, Distributed Global and other venture capitalists.

A number of top executives of Web3 Foundation & Parity Technologies also participated, including Gavin Wood - Founder of Polkadot. He said that Gear’s infrastructure efforts "will benefit the entire ecosystem.”
