Polkadot News
Referendum 110, proposing several changes to the validator configuration including having all validators in the active set be involved in parachain validation, has passed and executed. https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/110
Among other changes, Referendum 110 should noticeably reduce the variance of (i.e. “smooth out”) staking rewards for validators and nominators.
Referendum 130, cancelling the old obsolete auction schedule determined by Gov1, has been confirmed. https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/130
Referendum 136, proposing a tip for Bryan Chen for designing and implementing RFC-14, is open for vote. https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/136
RFC-14 proposes a set of changes to the parachain lock mechanism, making it easier for parachains to recover from certain problems such as bad genesis Wasm without relying on relay chain governance. https://github.com/polkadot-fellows/RFCs/pull/14
