El Salvador's President Nayib Bukele has ordered an investigation into the sudden increase in electricity bills in the country.

In El Salvador, a lot of attention is paid to bitcoin mining, which has increased the production of electricity in the country, but the people have been charged more on electricity bills than their consumption, which is unthinkable. I think anti-bitcoin people can take advantage of this by targeting the energy used for bitcoin mining as energy wastage, so Bukele has to be prepared.
