What went right with Ripple XRP?

Cryptoverse was angry with Ripple due to its co-founder Chris Larsen's open support to anti-crypto Kamala Harris in the US presidential election. People (including me) started boycotting XRP. After the elections, Chris Larsen went silent and Ripple CEO Brad Garlinghouse (who was silent till now) started praising Trump. We got it as it was their diplomacy, but decided to continue the boycott. Yet, XRP is drooling the cryptoverse.
