Google Meet and Gemini brings AI Notes Feature
Google Meet is competing with the Microsoft teams for last few years. And they are releasing the features that would support the domestic and international company setup.
Since Pandemic a lot of teams are now working remote and some have removed domestic offices for online teams.
Google meet and Microsoft Team are two top competitors in this space. Both of them are integrating their AI tools and the office workspace tools for the better supporting the remote work teams.
They have allowed the experimental feature of letting the Gemini AI to take the notes while the meeting is going on. The notes out of the conversation would be taken.
The Google meet features listens to the live conversation and takes out a note. And those notes are stored in the Google Docs.
For those who joined late they would get the “Summary so far” notes in the conversation through the meet.
If you have turned on the feature then recap of the meeting would be possible to access using the email. The feature also needs to be turned on manually.
This feature helps with the office documentation and also allows you to have a summary which would help with the office schedule and routine as well.
As of now the feature is rolled out for the Google Workspace users. You can expect this feature available for all the account after 10 Sept 2024.
