Juno Tablet : Low CPU Power Linux Tablet
I was checking out the cheaper tablets on the Youtube and came across this expensive one. I realized that despite being expensive it is very low spec Tablet. So you can easily see how that tablet is going to have drain on wallets.
So why would you use Linux tablet?
We are already using Linux in a way with android. So only difference it makes is Linux dedicated OS would give you desktop like feel and easy to find your way out of the settings and the features.
Another thing is that it’d not take longer for you to get used to the tablet. I have seen a lot of tablets that are cheaper than 500$ and also have this good hardware to use with. Mostly from Huawei and some Chinese companies.
However the Juno does not seems to be from that place. And it has a good hardware packed in there in terms of handling. But it has few issues especially on the specs side.
CPU and RAM are low power and low performance.
For price tag of 699 I feel Juno is over priced and also something anyone would not want to buy just to remain with the Linux.
There are some of the other tablets like Samsung Galaxy Tab and even Xiaomi tab too. And they kind of like how the performance of those tabs have worked out for the people.
If given a chance to buy tablet I’d either go with established brands or else I’d just avoid the purchase. Some tablets are not worth purchasing unless they are durable and high powered CPU.
