KeyTweak : Keyboard Layout Tool
I am struggling with my laptops keyboard layout. And each key is failing. The reason is the circuit near the battery and the keyboard has been struggling. And so making use of the layout tool to fix is a temporary fix till I get the circuit board fixed.
So I was learning some layout mapping tools. You can find such tools both in free and paid format. And this way the tools are good for the key mapping. And once set you can make use of the alternative keys for the typing.
I know this is extremely hard to use such tools as there is literally no hardware fix we can do neither we can do the hardware change here as the circuit board is acting up and not the keyboard.
So the tool is Keytweak, this offers you a means for the adjusting with the keys on the keyboard and then using it for the mapping.
In my case I replaced the e key with the fn key which makes typing the fn for e really uncomfortable. But you can now imagine how I am typing and writing comments and post online.
This is temporary fix and make sure you can get the keyboard fixed and also those keys gets replaced there.
It helps make the keys easily used for the keyboard and also in rare cases this is means to be worked over. Make sure you find some alternative in between this case.
If you have key issues on the keyboard then this is worth trying out. Be it for the laptop keyboard or the external desktop keyboard. So it’s a good thing if you ask me to have some of such tools.
