Moonbeam Launch Process

After becoming the 2nd winner of auction on Polkadot, Moonbeam Network did start its launch process & has entered phase 1.

At the end, balance transfers & the EVM will be enabled & the chain will be governed by token holders.

In phase 1, team is working towards the decentralization journey & adding more collators to the active set. Governance will be used to issue a runtime upgrade and expand the network.

For the final phase, Sudo key will be removed and hand over control of the network to token holders. Additionally, balance transfers and the EVM will be enabled. The chain will be governed by token holders using the onchain governance system.
