RFC-32, proposing to minimize the functionality of the Relay Chain, has been submitted to the Polkadot Technical Fellowship. https://github.com/polkadot-fellows/RFCs/pull/32/files

This would move numerous features, potentially including staking, referenda, bounties, and the Polkadot Treasury off of the relay chain and onto focused parachains.

Rererendum 166, proposing to adjust Polkadot’s ideal staking rate, is now passing with 99% in favor and enough support to pass before the enactment block. https://polkadot.polkassembly.io/referenda/166
