Kusama News
Referendum 380, proposing to upgrade the Kusama runtime to version 1.2.2, is now up for vote on the Whitelisted Track. https://kusama.polkassembly.io/referenda/380
Referendum 379, proposing to deprecate staking controller accounts, is now up for vote. https://kusama.polkassembly.io/referenda/379
Note that if Referendum 379 passes, the relevant Stashes will simply become the Controller accounts. If you need the features of Controller accounts, you can use a Staking proxy instead. https://wiki.polkadot.network/docs/learn-staking-advanced#staking-proxies
