Today we will advance to the next level trying to answer the following question:
What essential information should a whitepaper contain?📃
👉 The Project's Mission
- Explains the problem the project aims to solve, or highlights limitations of existing solutions.
- May showcase the current state of affairs and position the project as a revolutionary answer.
👉 Utility and Use Case
- Introduces the project's solution and its value proposition.
- Strong whitepapers detail how it works and why it's necessary.
👉 Technology used
- Explains how a project's blockchain functions and its competitive edge.
👉 Tokenomics. The Token Distribution and Utility
- A crucial section for spotting potential scams.
- Good whitepapers are transparent about token allocation, vesting schedules, and token utilities.
👉 Roadmap
- Outlines the project's development plan with achievable goals.
- Good roadmaps focus on increasing project utility, while bad ones list generic activities.
👉 The Team
- Provides information about the team's background and experience.
- Anonymous teams raise red flags, though Bitcoin is a rare exception.
Overall, a good crypto whitepaper will be clear, informative, and transparent across all these sections, helping you assess the project's potential and legitimacy.
