  • Round Two of the Kusama Spammening commenced at 16:00 UTC on 4th December 2024. This time, the community was enlisted to help initiate transactions through the Spammening dashboard. With 23 cores utilized, initial readings suggest a peak of 128,184 TPS, a world record for a live production network. Expect a more detailed analysis in the coming days.
  • Shall we try spamming Snowbridge for Round Three? Bridging between Kusama and Ethereum is expected in H1 2025.
  • Polkadot Blockchain Academy is now accepting applications for its campus program starting on 23rd March 2025, at Lucerne University of Applied Sciences, Switzerland. Attendees can choose between the Protocol On-chain track, focusing on the Polkadot SDK, or the DApps Off-Chain track, which will cover the range of tooling available for app development on Polkadot.
  • At the Parity company off-site this week, Karim Jedda, Birdo, Tiago Tavares, and Slava Ksendziuk took the hackathon prize for their AI-powered UI builder that can generate designs for any use case on Polkadot.
