Is it worth it to pay double for some extra benefits? Let's do the math! The everyday plan was generating £35 from perks and cashback, while the Premium plan will generate £60 in $PLU thanks to the extra perk and doubled allowance! It feels like a good deal!
The above calculations were based on a monthly membership, because the annual one comes with extra savings! The annual payment for the Premium plan was £199.99, with two months for free. Paid it for peace of mind, so I don't need to worry about the monthly renewal, and also received a good discount.
The two free months helped me pay £39.98 less for one whole year of Plutus membership, and will bring a big boost towards reaching a staking tier! The payment was £4.99 less on top of the standard offer, as a pro-rata discount for my Everyday plan. Plutus is always good on details!
You can stack PLU to unlock additional benefits! There are six levels and the bonus gets higher as the amount of $PLU gets bigger! The Honey Badger will earn 9% cashback and 9 additional perks! Not sure if I would be able to select so many perks!
The road to Honey Badger is long, and I am looking at the short term levels. The first step is to reach Hero status, for 4% cashback and 4 additional perks. This way I could shop at Asda, Tesco, Lidl, and more!
How's my journey going so far? I am getting there on a steady pace! It's hard to calculate exactly when I will have 250 $PLU, as the market volatility is influencing the token price. However, I earned an average of 15 $PLU per month lately... which makes me believe that Hero Level will be achieved by the end of the year!
Waiting for the perks to take me there! Meanwhile... I keep spending and paying with Plutus! I need only 80 $PLU to reach Hero level, and enhance my cashback to 4%. It comes with 4 perks and accelerated rewards! This is the way!
